What will you do?
- Manages all aspects of parts department operations
- Offers and ensures that the store offers the highest level of customer service
- Returns a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory
- Develops and maintains proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising
- Promotes parts standards for superior customer, employee, and dealership management
Education and/or Training:
- High School diploma or GED; College degree preferred and 5+ years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of dealership parts experience in various aspects of the parts department which may include some or all of the following: Shipping/receiving, Parts counter sales, (Wholesale, retail or shop) Assistant manager or similar related work; working knowledge of car repair and customer engagement. Experienced in parts principles, concepts and department operations.

- Ability to work with manufacturer and obtain required parts metrics
- Problem solving of various duties involving related parts process and methods
- Ability to supervise, coach, counsel and objectively evaluate employees and their performance
- Duties involving judgment to work independently, devise new or modify existing methods, techniques and procedures to meet parts requirements
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures / transactions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work, interact and motivate parts employees and parts/service related employees
- Communicates with customers, manufacturer representatives, and vendors
- Ability to explain parts concepts, process or ideas to parts employees and dealership management
- Ability to function successfully within a dealership management team
Compensation is $72,500 plus bonus
