Parts Manager

Transteck has an immediate opening for a Parts Manager for our Freightliner of Bridgeport dealership located in Swedesboro, NJ. If you possess the skills and experience, we are looking for please apply below and you will be contacted by one of our hiring managers.

Job Summary:

Position with primary responsibility for all parts department functions. Responsibilities include hiring, motivating, coaching, appraising, rewarding, performance management for the department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Employee satisfaction & Customer satisfaction
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of department
• Inventory Management and control including daily orders
• Maintain Company standards for inventory turns, fill rates and excess inventory levels
• Monthly perpetual to book reconciliation
• Overall responsibility for achieving department sales goals
• Overall responsibility for safety and safety control
• Conduct staff meetings as appropriate
• Make sure staff (including self) is up to date on all OEM training
• Profitability of department
• Perform all management and leadership responsibilities and functions with the parts department.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
• 5 yrs management experience
• PC (Excel & Word) and Business Software (parts distribution systems)
