Parts Manager
$65 - $75k based on experience

Monday - Friday, and some Saturdays, some travel with occasional overnights

This opportunity to work with a family-owned heavy-duty truck dealer in Sioux City that has been in business for more than 60 years may be for you!  As a Parts Manager, you will direct, coordinate, and evaluate the overall direction of the department and its employees.  You will be responsible for running a profitable and efficient department while inspiring, motivating, and encouraging the team to reach desired outcomes.  This job as a Parts Manger is a great opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team centered and diverse environment. Responsibilities:

• Supervise operations in the parts department
• Research new products and maintain up-to-date product offerings
• Address concerns
• Understand, oversee inventory; merchandise inventory to meet sales and profit goals
• Analyze complex business problems and initiate multifaceted solutions
• Interview, hire, train, and motivate  
• Interpret financial statements and apply the analysis to operations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet companies insurability requirements
• Traveling with occasional overnights, on-call 
• 5 years’ experience in heavy-duty truck parts is required
• Develop and motivate a team of 20 plus employees
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Compensation and Benefits:

• $65 - $75k based on experience
