Job description

Wickham Tractor Co. is hiring to fill our Parts Inventory Analyst position. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as required. This person will have a love for data, analytics, and trends. Ultimately having the goal of ensuring the company’s assets are properly accounted for and optimized to increase sales. You must also be organized, precise, and devoted to producing quality work.

Overview of Position:

The Parts Inventory Analyst is the primary person in control of the physical stocking of inventory of the dealerships. This person will determine the optimal stocking levels of parts for annual sales and seasonal trends. This person will also be held accountable for maintaining and controlling the physical dollar value of the entire companies’ Parts Inventory. This person will be held responsible for maintaining the returns and credits offered from each manufacturer. Any corporate orders shall fall under this position’s approval. This person will assist with open order maintenance and damage return claims. Inventory accuracy will be included within the responsibilities of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of daily stock orders being placed for all five locations.
  • Submit annual/semi-annual preseason stock-up orders.
  • Ensure proper inventory stocking levels across all locations to maintain a satisfactory inventory turn.
  • Analyze inventory at each store and process push transfer reports on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Review initial stocking lists for new products and ensure we are bringing in appropriate parts to service the customer units we sell.
  • Processing of damage claims/returns.
  • Providing oversight and processes for individual stores to complete inventory counts and maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Maintain pricing matrixes in dealer business systems.
  • Compile and process vendor returns.
  • Work with location parts managers to optimize fill rate and make sure we bring in parts that are causing us lost sales.

Requirements:

  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, Teams, email, and database software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written WTC employees and vendors.
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurability in accordance with the insurance carrier requirements for company vehicle use.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Business degree preferred.
  • Parts Department Experience Preferred (3+ years)
  • Inventory Management or Inventory Experience Preferred (2+years).
  • Knowledge Or Background In Farming/Agricultural Industry, Powersports, Heavy Truck.
  • Knowledge of database software and computer application systems.
  • Proficient in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.

· Professional enhanced product knowledge and training provided by manufacturers and mentors to gain understanding and further develop skills and expertise.

Compensation Package:

· $55,000 - $70,000. Based on experience and qualifications.
