SUMMARY
Under supervision of the Supervisor, the Truck Driver, Parts Delivery drives van or truck
with one ton capacity or less to deliver parts from one destination to another.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSNSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include
other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
1. Must maintain a current local state driver’s license.
2. Load and unload truck, verifying material with shipping papers.
3. Responsible for maintenance and inspection of truck equipment and fluid
levels. Includes tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Responsible for
keeping vehicle in good mechanical condition.
4. Responsible for keeping vehicle clean.
5. Always Represent the company in a responsible manner while driving
the company vehicle and while at our customers place of business.

Education and/or Experience
Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma and 3-12 months
of relevant experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers. Ability
to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
Other Qualifications
Requires the ability to operate various equipment to include a computer, hand truck, cart,
and forklift.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to handle
materials in various shapes, sizes, frequently stand/walk, use hands to finger, handle
touch and pack materials. The employee is required to walk, reach above
shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear and use hands and feet to
operate equipment. The employee will be required to frequently lift/or move up to 25
pounds regularly lift/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift/or move over 75
pounds. Specific vision abilities required include, close vision, distance vision, depth
perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to all types of
outside weather conditions. The employee is regularly in and out of the vehicle
delivering materials to customer locations. The employee is frequently exposed to
facilities in which vehicles are repaired and will have fumes or airborne particles. The
noise level is occasionally loud in these facilities.
