Job Summary:
The Parts Database Coordinator will work under the supervision of warranty management and will oversee and coordinate the development and continued control of the Parts Master Database. The Parts Database Coordinator must be able to collaborate with the Internal Maintenance Team, Manufacturers, Product Management and assist and communicate problem solving initiatives on inventory and database issues.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Map all parts to the correct VMRS system.
· Ensure correct system code is Utilized.
· Ensure Parts are Cross-referenced if applicable.
· Ensure all parts are mapped to the correct vendor to ensure corporate compliance.
· Map all new accounts to correct GL code.
· Be able to train personnel on using Cetaris to search for and order parts.
· Provide necessary oversight for the return of cores to vendors.
· Evaluate spending while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of items purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
· Maintain solid working relationships with suppliers for superseded parts numbers
· Work closely with procurement team members to compile and analyze data to perform price analysis and review proposals to establish price objectives.
· Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of parts pricing.
· Attend meetings with Field Maintenance, vendors, and suppliers as needed.
· Hands-on actively seeking answers to potential inventory discrepancies.
· Willingness to learn updates and advancements to parts/ maintenance system software.
· Performs other duties as required by STA Senior Management.
Required Skills/Abilities-Essential Functions:
· Must have in-depth knowledge of parts, form, fit, and function.
· Strong working knowledge of Parts Management and Inventory Control Processes in the Transportation Industry.
· Demonstrates high self-motivation and the ability to learn the business.
· Highly organized and clear interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication and listening skills.
· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook are required for this position.
· Advanced Excel skills preferred.
· Able to manage multiple priorities
· Attend work on a regular and dependable basis
· Ability to successfully pass state and/or federal required Background Checks
· Able to work in an operations environment, including indoor and outdoor conditions.
· Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
· Ability to comply with all policies and procedures established by company
· Reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin
Education & Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must have 5+ years of experience with Cetaris/Web Fleet Assistant Software
· Must have 5+ years of experience with inventory control
· Must have 5+ years of experience with parts management
· Must have understanding and working knowledge of VMRS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100k to $120k in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and qualifications and may differ by location or operating division. STA is a total compensation company.
