Taylor Northeast, Inc., is one of the mid-Atlantic’s leading material handling equipment dealerships representing over a dozen premier manufacturers of heavy mobile material handling equipment. Taylor Northeast is a proud member of the H&K Equipment Group of companies which specializes in the selling, leasing, refurbishing, and servicing of industrial equipment and mobile construction machinery including forklift trucks, container handlers, railcar movers, industrial floor sweepers and scrubbers, overhead cranes, and yard spotter trucks. We have 11 locations throughout Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Allentown, Harrisburg, Syracuse and the New England market and we employ over 350 people.
We are currently seeking an experienced Parts Counter specialist whose primary responsibility will be inside sales of a wide variety of mobile equipment truck parts from many different OEMs and aftermarket suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in a parts department environment of some kind.
- Order Entry
- Looking up parts online
- Ordering parts online for many different OEMs
- Receiving customer calls
- Prioritizing a large amount of orders based on level of importance
- Coordinating parts availability with shop and road mechanics
- Customer Service background
- Fielding and responding to customer calls
- Researching multiple manufacturer part numbers
REQUIREMENTS
- Customer service-driven attitude
- Effective phone and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task accordingly
- Solid negotiating capabilities
- Solid problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and clear work area
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Results driven
