- Effectively manage and maintain parts, accessories, and apparel inventory including purchasing, accuracy, and security.
- Monitor quality and cost and maintain profit margins.
- 3+ years Inventory Control and management experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in pricing.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation, math, and computer skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Eligible to work in the USA.
- A basic knowledge of motorcycles, parts, accessories, and/or riding gear is preferred.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and parts sourcing is a plus.

- Ensure appropriate and accurate stock and Inventory levels for parts, accessories, and apparel. Work with sales, parts, and service departments to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Regularly review inventory status of Parts and accessories sales. Review history reports to ensure that stock level requirements are accurate. Track lost sales.
- Prepare stock orders. Locate out-of-stock parts from internal or outside sources and submit an emergency order if necessary.
- Plan and manage seasonal inventory rotations.
- Oversee and manage the inventory storage space in the warehouse.
- Maintain and update computer system to reflect up-to-date information of Parts and prices.
- Identify slow moving items. Reduce dead inventory by stock rotation with vendors, identifying items for obsolescence, return, or by other methods.
- Present new product ideas to staff and encourage feedback. Ensure that staff is adequately informed and updated with current promotional materials. Arrange in-house educational sessions with vendors.
- Assist in planning marketing and promotions within PAA and with coordinating vendor participation in events. Develop and document procedures for processing promotional transactions.
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all vendors.
- Negotiate special employee pricing with vendors to encourage employees to use the latest Parts and accessories. Inform coworkers of available programs.
- Identify operating inefficiencies related to inventory handling and recommend changes. Develop controls and practices to prevent shrinkage.
