What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
- Completes all documentation in a timely manner
- Provides peer support counseling individually with persons served and in groups, drawing on common experiences as a peer, to validate clients' experiences and to provide guidance and encouragement to clients to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery.
- Provides hope, information, guidance and support to Young Adults involved in behavioral health services or mental health services.
- Act as a positive role model for coworkers and persons served, treating them with respect, dignity, understanding and fairness
- Accurately document observation and progress of behavior, issues and performance of persons served
- Requires working with children, adolescents, Young Adults and families who may represent varying ethnicities, cultures, and religions, educational level and socioeconomic status
- Provides transportation for youth and families

Requirements
Qualifications/Credentials
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Test preferred
- Personal lived experience lithe mental health
- Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
- Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
