Parkwood Healthcare is recruiting for a hospitality focused Weekend Caregiver, 6a-2p, both Saturday and Sunday. The Caregiver assists residents so that independent living can be maintained for as long as appropriate and possible. Promotes independent living activities while giving assistance to a resident.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:
- Takes vital signs as indicated.
- Changes beds, gives showers or baths and assists with dressing.
- Assists with escorts to the dining room, beauty shop, physical therapy, activities, etc.
- Makes daily rounds to ill residents.
- Keeps Supervisor informed of residents' status.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
