We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Part-time to Full-time employee. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and availability. As a Part-time to Full-time employee, you will have the chance to contribute to our company's success and grow with us.
Duties:
- Answers incoming emergency phone calls and acquires pertinent information for dispatching emergency responders.
- Able to multitask
- Manages radio communications and utilizes technology such as computers, Computer Aided Dispatch System(CAD), radio systems, 911, and administrative telephone systems. Gather information from the caller to give to correct entity.
- Tracks and maintains the status of all police units, emergency response agencies, and command personnel; assists emergency personnel in locating addresses: conveys information to and from emergency personnel.
- Monitors State and Local Radio Frequencies to intercept and relay information regarding crimes, disasters, emergency situations and activates tornado warning sirens when required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
