This position is a part-time position (15-25 hours per week) with a mix between coaching time in the water, office/administrative tasks, and deck and cleaning support. Whether in the pool or in the office, this job is all about great customer service. You must be reliable, punctual, have a strong work ethic, and good verbal communication skills. We offer paid training to help you learn our system and approach. This job will require afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Make sure everyone is safe.
- Love and respect students while teaching them to swim.

Qualifications:
- Caring and compassion for children and adults
- Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
- Strong communication skills
- Great attitude and willingness to be coached
- Basic swimming competency in the four competitive swim strokes
- The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, afternoons and weekends required

Compensation: $17.50 per hour

Chicago Blue Dolphins is a privately owned swim school in Downtown Chicago. We have been teaching students of all ages and skill levels to be safe and effective in the water since 2003. Our staff love coming to work and are passionate about their jobs. Our indoor, year-round, warm water, and high tech Swim Studio creates an environment where success in evitable.

Year-Round Employment
- Year round employment, minimum of 1 year of commitment
- Minimum 2 shifts per week - each shift is at least 4 hours long
- Schedule is set by staffing season (Jan-May, June-Aug, Aug-Dec)
- Afternoons, evenings, and weekends required
- No teaching experience necessary, we provide training
- Part and full time positions are available
Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school.
