We are seeking a Part Time Service & Staffing Coordinator to join our growing family. This position will require the candidate to be on-call and available on the weekends and weeknights. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Answer calls, emails and messages.
- Answer employment inquiries, schedule and conduct applicant interviews.
- Restaff cases when home care aides call-out or no-show to ensure and maintain continuity of client care during off-hours.
- Reach out to clients and inform them about schedule change and plans for restaffing.
- Handle staffing needs for new incoming cases, match home care aides with the needs of our clients.
- Keep log and report to client and Care Management team all schedule or staff changes and cancellations that occurred while on off-hours shift including call outs, authorization for change in hourly rate, overtime and/or mileage, and client complaints or concerns.
- Perform on-call duties as a home care aide when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Applicants are subject to State Licensure background checks and must have a clean driving record.
- Applicant must be well organized, detail-oriented, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Maintain the desire to please clients and provide excellent customer service
- The position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to generate resolutions to daily challenges and opportunities
- Responsibilities include matching caregiver personalities, skills, location, and availability with the needs of our clients, assuring 100% coverage of client schedules and resolving all scheduling issues promptly
- Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area area to apply
- Availability to complete some on-call duties
- Previous staffing and scheduling experience preferred
Schedule:
- Weekends on call
- Monday to Friday weeknights (5:30pm - 11:00pm)
Experience:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with our caregivers and clients.
- Self starter who is motivated and passionate to help.
- Experience working in the home care or health care industry preferred.
- Experience in staffing / scheduling health care aide services.
