Part-Time PRN - Registered Dietician - Home Infusion Pharmacy

We are seeking a Registered Dietician to join our team at AvevoRx, a leading Home Infusion, specialty pharmacy. As a Registered Dietician, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients receiving parental nutrition and providing education and clinical nutrition support for our pharmacy operations.

**Primary Responsibilities:

- Conduct nutritional assessments for patients receiving parental nutrition therapy.

- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and nutritional needs.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

- Provide education and counseling to patients and their caregivers on proper nutrition, dietary guidelines, and lifestyle modifications.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition care plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.

- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in clinical nutrition and parental nutrition therapy.

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review patient cases and coordinate care.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to nutritional therapy and patient care.

**Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

- Current registration and licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of practice.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in Home Infusion or healthcare setting.

- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, enteral and parental nutrition, and nutritional assessment techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential.

- Experience with nutritional support software and technology.

- Advanced training or certification in specialized areas of clinical nutrition.

Pay is based on experience.
