Dr Engstrom and Associates is a small business in Fargo, ND. We are professional, upbeat and our goal is to provide eye exams for patients of all ages. We are a 2 doctor practice and have been in business for 20 years. It is a busy practice and we incorporate modern technology.
Our work environment includes:
- Modern office setting
Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider. This position requires initiative, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Other duties include: welcoming patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting insurance information, and patient payments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to perform basic computer skills and use basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office.

Clinic hours M-F 8:30-5 Saturday 8:30-3
*Closed Sundays and all major holidays.
**Must be available during the summer, Saturdays, and holiday breaks.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a related role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of maintaining a clean and safe environment
As an Optometric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting the optometrist in delivering comprehensive eye exams. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
