Our innovative private Mental Health practice is leading the way in telehealth services, focusing on expanding access to psychiatric care in New Jersey. We are dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate, and comprehensive Mental Health services through a remote model. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a specialization in medication management. This role is perfect for a professional passionate about telepsychiatry, eager to leverage technology to deliver patient-centered care from a remote setting.
Role Overview:
The PMHNP will deliver psychiatric care via telehealth, focusing on patient evaluations, medication prescriptions, and treatment management—all from a remote setting. This role is designed for someone adept in virtual care delivery, comfortable with evolving technology, and committed to providing empathetic, effective treatment in a telehealth format.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Remote Psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and treat Mental Health conditions.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with an emphasis on patient safety, efficacy, and adherence.
- Provide remote medication management services, ensuring patients receive comprehensive education and support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate a coordinated approach to patient care in a virtual environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and adhere to telehealth regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active PMHNP license in New Jersey.
- DEA registration with experience in controlled substances management.
- Proficiency in telehealth modalities and comfort in delivering care remotely.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient engagement in a virtual setting.
- Experience with medication management for psychiatric conditions, specifically with controlled substances.
