Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant (approx. 30 hours per week)

Heavy Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Family of 4 (going on 5!) is seeking a highly professional, experienced nanny to grow with their family. They have a 2.5 year old, 1 year old, and baby on the way. They currently have a great nanny working with them and are looking to add a second nanny to the team! The existing nanny will work the morning shift and the new nanny will have the afternoon/evening shift.

Their ideal nanny is energetic and can keep up with 3 young children, able to lift the kids and get down on the floor to play! They have a strong preference for someone who has a background in Early Childhood Education (degree/preschool teaching experience). They like a neat and tidy home and expect the nanny to participate in keeping things tidy. Mom is stay at home, sometimes she will be very involved and other times the nanny will have full charge. Dad is a founder of a business and is away at the office most days. They lean towards gentle parenting and would love to have a nanny who shares their Catholic faith if possible. A can-do attitude is essential and experience working in UHNW/HP households is preferred.

Schedule and Hours:

M-F 1pm - 6/7pm and every other Saturday 7am - 2pm or in the evening for a date night.

Rate:

$35-$42 per hour DOE on payroll

Guaranteed hours (exact amount guaranteed to be worked out, approximately 30 hours per week). Paid time off, holidays and sick days. Open to a health insurance stipend.

Responsibilities:

All things related to caring for a 2.5 year old and 1 year old (and eventually the new baby). Preparing meals and snacks, engaging in developmentally appropriate and educational activities, keeping them safe, loving and nurturing them. They have a backyard for outside play. Cleaning up after the kids and yourself, helping with kids laundry and general household tidying. Family has a housekeeper so no deep cleaning, just helping with the everyday upkeep and keeping kids spaces organized.

Requirements:

5+ years experience as a nanny

Experience with newborns - preschool age and working with multiple children

Strong preference for someone with a degree in Early Childhood Education and/or preschool teaching experience

Infant/Child CPR Certified

Able to work legally in the US

TrustLine registered or willing to register, able to pass a background check

Reliable and able to make a long term, multi-year commitment

Strong preference for someone experienced working in UHNW/HP households

Willing to cover more hours when the other nanny takes her vacation days

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
