Part Time Medical Assistant

Advanced Foot & Ankle Wellness Center is seeking a Part Time Medical Assistant in a busy podiatry practice located in King of Prussia, PA.

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner

We are Looking for someone with great time management skills who goes above and beyond to provide the best patient care. Personality is vital!

Requirements include a high school diploma, previous medical assistance experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate

Position is Part-time 3-4 days a week

Must be available to work Monday 11:30pm-7:00pm, Weds 9:00am-3:00pm , Fridays 7:30am-3:00pm and with the possibility of additional hours on Thursdays No weekends or holidays needed.

Dress is scrubs attire.

Responsibilities:

• Scribing- assisting in chart completion and documentation
• Assisting in Medical Procedures
• Performing diagnostic tests such as Xrays
• Patient subjective intake and paperwork review
• Processing and completing paperwork
• Greets patients in the waiting room and escorts them to the treatment room.
• Maintains order, cleanliness, and inventory in the treatment room, and prepares treatment room for patients to enter.
• Scanning proper paperwork to the chart for Physician's review.
• Assists Physician with prescribed therapies/DME dispensing.
• Performing Clinical Measurements and Prefabricating Orthotic Devices
• Assists administrate staff in pre-certifications for MRI's and other Physician orders as necessary.
• Returning Messages from Patients as directed by the Doctor
• Medical Assistant will also be cross trained in administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments,
