The Eye Vets is hiring a part-time employee for our Chattanooga satellite location based out of Veterinary Care and Specialty Group of Chattanooga. The Eye Vets is a rapidly growing, privately-owned veterinary ophthalmology practice. Our main location is in Nashville, TN with multiple satellite locations around the city. Schedule:

• Monday-Wednesday 7:30-4:00. We close for lunch from 12:00-1:00.
• Weekdays only.
• Closed on weekends and major holidays.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in Veterinary Technology. (Preferred)
• Active Veterinary Technician licensure in the state of TN. (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic. (Required)
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, bites, scratches, and contagious diseases.
• Take physical safety precautions for exposure to drugs, anesthesia and fractious pets.
• Physical activities include bending, standing, stooping, kneeling and sitting. May be required to walk or stand for long periods of time. Will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. Will reach with hands and arms.
