Part-Time Loan Collections Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Collections Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and collecting on delinquent loan accounts up to 60 days past due. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our team's success by working closely with members to identify and address any issues contributing to payment delinquency.

Duties:
· Contacting customers to collect on delinquent loan accounts. Follows the process set forth and makes collection calls to borrowers to discuss payment options and negotiate resolutions. Primary focus will be on accounts 30-60 days delinquent.

· Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all collections activities.

· Provides excellent service to all members and communicates with all levels of staff. Adheres to regulatory requirements and company policies in all collections processes.

· Provides assistance to the lending/collections department, acting in a team-oriented collaboration share insights and best practices.

Skills:
· Previous experience in collections in a credit union or bank preferred.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills with supervisor and coworkers.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Experience with remote work and digital communication tools preferred
