Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our school's healthcare team on a part-time basis. As an LVN contracted through W2, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment, collaborating with educators and administrators to promote a safe and healthy school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students according to individual health care plans and physician's orders.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring pliance with school policies and procedures.
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies, and intervene as necessary to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify health concerns and provide appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation, including immunization records and medication logs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement student health plans.
• Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives within the school munity.

Qualifications:

• Current LVN license in the state of California.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience working in a school setting or pediatric healthcare preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school munity.
