ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Law Student Recruiting:
• Assist the Senior Attorney Recruiting Manager to update and maintain the Legal Recruiting database and various spreadsheets with candidate and interview details.
• Track resume circulation, add applications, and generate application packets using our applicant tracking system.
2. Summer Associate Program Duties:
• Assist with internal and external event planning and coordination, including event budget research, sending and tracking electronic invitations, and acting as the on-site event contact for Seattle events.
• Assist with summer program evaluation process by generating and circulating data to relevant parties.
• Help schedule regular meetings with summer associates and attorneys; events, or other meetings as needed.
3. Other Duties
• Help collect onboarding paperwork and coordinate pre-arrival logistics for entry level associates.
• Work on staff recruiting duties as assigned.
• Work with Talent Development Team on related assignments, including diversity, equity, and inclusion projects.
• Other Firmwide or Seattle office projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES
Technical Knowledge
Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook. Familiarity and/or experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Familiarity or interest in software programs for recruiting (i.e., candidate tracking, interview evaluations, HRIS and viDesktop).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Be a current student at an accredited university or college in good academic standing.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially in written communication
- Former experience in a customer-facing position preferred.
- Outstanding organizational, communication and critical thinking skills are required.
- Candidates should be discreet, have an excellent work ethic, work well under pressure, and be a team player.
- Candidates should also be comfortable working closely with individuals at various levels within an organization.
NORMAL WORK HOURS AND COMPENSATION
This position is non-exempt. The hours for this position will vary but will be no more than 20 hours per week. This position is hybrid and will be on-site in our downtown Seattle, WA office at least three days per week.
