The Political Science Program invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track lecturer for undergraduate courses in Political Science. Primary duties include teaching 1 or 2 Political Science classes during the 4.5 month semester. Specific areas for which a lecturer is needed are American Politics, Comparative Politics, Public Policy, and US Foreign Policy.
Faculty are hired, evaluated, and retained on the basis of conditions covered in the Union Contract.
A Master’s degree in Political Science or related field required
Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFaculty members are expected to teach, develop syllabi and teaching materials related to courses taught, and hold regular office hours.
Preferred QualificationsDoctorate preferred.Degree must be from an accredited institution.
