As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an authentic Vietnamese dining experience to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and providing them with a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Assisting guests with menu selections and providing recommendations on Vietnamese dishes
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders, including specialty drinks.
- Serving food and drinks promptly and with care, ensuring presentation meets our high standards
- Anticipating and fulfilling guest needs, such as extra sauces or utensils
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including setting and clearing tables
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered timely
- Processing payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash transactions and POS systems with ease
[Requirements]:
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
- Multi-language is preferred but not required such as , Chinese, English.
- Passion for cuisine and eagerness to learn about our menu offerings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
As a Cook, you will play a vital role in crafting the delicious and authentic flavors of Vietnamese cuisine that keep our guests coming back for more. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including pho, pan fried noodles/rice, and traditional noodle dishes, with precision and attention to detail
- Ensuring that all ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and prepared according to established recipes and standards
- Collaborating with kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and maintain efficient workflow during busy service hours
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold our commitment to excellence in food quality and safety
- Assisting with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
[Requirements]:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably with knowledge of cuisine but not limited
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
- Team player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
As a Prep Cook and dishwasher, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen operation, responsible for preparing and organizing ingredients to support our culinary team in creating authentic Vietnamese dishes. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of ingredients such as slicing meats, chopping vegetables, and portioning spices according to recipes and standards
- Ensuring that all ingredients are fresh, properly cleaned, and stored in designated containers to maintain quality and food safety
- Preparing sauces, broths, and other essential components of dishes with attention to detail and consistency
- Operating dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently
- Sorting and stacking clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas
- Emptying trash bins and maintaining cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas
- Assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed, such as food preparation and organization
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the prep area, including washing and sanitizing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
- Assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating perishable items, and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
- Supporting kitchen team members during service by replenishing ingredients and assisting with assembly as needed
[Requirements]:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required; we're willing to train candidates with a passion for food preparation
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately, with attention to detail and consistency
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
