SalaryGreyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. is in search of dog lovers to work as a Kennel Care Assistant for the morning shift, starting at 7:00 am untill approximately 12:00 pm. The position will be 4-5 days a week, including one weekend day or every other weekend.
This is a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The job is physical, not difficult, but keeps you busy. Candidates need to be physically able to perform the duties and it helps to enjoy physical labor. Must be comfortable working with large dogs
Each kennel has an indoor area and outdoor area which will require working in all weather conditions, rain, heat, cold and beautiful spring and fall days. This position consists of petting dogs, scooping poop, hosing out kennels, cleaning dog beds, feeding dogs, laundry, washing dog bowls, buckets and other tasks as needed.
We are seeking an extremely dependable individual that is detail oriented, follows procedures, able to work independently and with others. Candidates must love dogs and be comfortable giving back as much love as will be received.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. The facility is located in North Carrollton, TX, must have reliable transportation and the closer you live to N. Carrollton the better

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
