Professional position available:
Part-Time Instruction and Behavior Facilitator atBucktail Campus (Available 2nd Semester)
Basic Functions:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting school staff including teachers and administration while providing support services associated with at-risk students and their families. The individual in this position will be familiar with the needs of students from various cultures and backgrounds, including families in crisis. He/she will be familiar with and comfortable using anger management and conflict resolution procedures. He/she will be comfortable instructing students by modeling desirable behaviors and skills. He/she will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education & Experience:
This position requires a minimum of an advanced education degree (M.S., Ed.S., Ph.D/Ed.d) and five or more years of teaching experience; experience in working with/mentoring at-risk students is a plus; Masters in Educational Leadership preferred. Previous experience in conflict resolution and instructing students by modeling desirable behaviors and skills is preferred. Safety Care Training is required.
