Job Description:
As our Part-Time Human Resource Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and fostering a positive work environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Conducting new employee orientations and assisting in facilitating employee training sessions.
• Managing employee relations and addressing any concerns or grievances in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Assisting with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to promote a productive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Collaborating with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent retention and succession planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in a Human Resource role, preferably within the construction or home improvement industry.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience with payroll, unemployment, PFML, and YE audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
