Family Extended Care of Winter Haven is seeking a caring, responsible, and qualified Housekeeper to join our assisted living facility in Winter Haven.
Family Extended Care (The Hawthorne Inn of Winter Haven) is a not-for-profit organization delivering compassionate care to our residents. As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. It is essential to have time management skills, an outgoing attitude, to be flexible, and too want to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities Include
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors daily
- Clean all bathrooms and living areas weekly
- Weekly cleaning and dusting of all furnishings
- Empty and replace trashes daily; clean trash bins as needed
- Report to Maintenance Director when supplies are low
- Clean spills and remove safety obstacles as you see them
- Follow and complete Housekeeping checklist on a daily basis
Job Requirements
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, but will train qualified applicants who possess the above mentioned skills.
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance history.
Position Available
- Part-time
- Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays 7:30 am- 3:00 pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 21 per week
