We are seeking Home Health Care Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) for immediate hire – We offer free Certification Training [for PCAs ONLY!]!
Position Highlights:

Requirements:
- Two Proofs of I.D. (Driver’s License or photo ID verifying address, Social Security Card, Identification such as your Passport, Green Card, Visa etc.).
- Must already be, or willing to become a Certified Home Health or Personal Care Aide with evidence of NYS Home Care Registry enrollment after completion of a NYS Department of Health Approved Home Health training program.
- Pre-Employment Physical Examination/ PPD/ Rubella/ Drug Screen Results prior to patient contact.
- Two reference letters.
Skills and Responsibilities, including:
- Provide health care services within patient’s residences.
- Perform basic domestic and household tasks.
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital.
- Remind client to take prescribed medications.
- Assist with client’s personal care activities.
- Monitor patients (i.e., vital signs, temperature, respiration) and report on their condition [only HHAs].
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services.
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
- Nurturing and compassionate nature with the desire to care for others.
- Open-mind and emotional maturity towards individuals of various backgrounds.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills across all involved parties: Care Coordinator, patient and family member(s), and the Extended Care Team (i.e. care manager, social worker, nurse).
- Bilingual is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.55 - $21.09 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
