This position will be located on-site at our clients and you must reside in the greater St. Paul/Minneapolis area to be considered.

At Redpath, we continue to grow and our Client Accounting Services team is looking for a part-time Fractional Controller to support our Construction clients.  In this capacity, you will support one or more clients simultaneously and you could expect to provide a wide variety of accounting and finance services including but not limited to: 

• Financial statement reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Audit preparation
• Analysis and implementation of internal controls and other best practices
• Month-end close
• Analysis of inventory costing and overhead for manufacturing clients
• Analysis of percentage of completion accounting for the Construction clients
• Special accounting projects
• Sound financial management advice

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Seven+ years of accounting experience including construction industry experience and recent experience as a Controller
• Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience with multiple general ledger software packages
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work effectively both on a team and independently
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
• Ability to travel to local client sites
• Exceptional client service
