Part-Time Financial Planning Office Assistant / Receptionist

Harris & Company Wealth Management is seeking an experienced receptionist/administrative assistant to join our office and help service our client base in the North Haven CT area. As a receptionist/administrative assistant, you will work side by side with a team of experienced financial advisors to help clients meet their financial goals. This position will begin on a part-time basis (24-30 hours weekly - 9am to 3pm) with the potential to move to full-time.

The receptionist/assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to four advisors in a busy, fast-paced Financial Planning Office. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in the industry supporting advisors in the building of their books of business.

We are seeking someone who is ambitious, positive, mature and trustworthy. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize responsibilities based on urgency is required. You must be able to learn quickly and be comfortable with change. Proficiency with multi-line phone systems, Windows based computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications is highly desirable.

The receptionist/administrative assistant will assist the team in many areas of our Financial Planning practice including answering in-bound calls, greeting clients and visitors, preparing new account and service forms accurately in a paperwork-intensive environment, providing customer service both in person, over the phone and in email, facilitating and resolving client service requests, scheduling client meetings and events, generating and mailing correspondence, and completing other administrative tasks as assigned.

All applicants must pass a criminal and credit background check, as well as fingerprinting, as required by law for a position within a financial services office.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
