Position Summary
The Department of Humanities seeks part-time faculty to teach courses in studio art (drawing, painting, ceramics, and fiber art) as well as art history.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Professional skill and record of successful gallery exhibition in the studio art form to be taught.
Years of Experience Required
Prior teaching experience (at least one year) is preferred.

Masters Degree
Certification/Licensure Required
MFA in Fine Art or Art History
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate student in an MFA program
Preferred Qualifications
MFA in Fine Art or Art History and 2-3 years of University-level teaching experience.
Equipment Operated
Studio art equipment (paints, easels, brushes, pastels, pencils, drawing pads, clay, kiln, and/or loom, etc). Projector, computer, Internet
Working Conditions
Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds).
