Accreditation:
Assists the Academic/ Clinical Coordinator with the following:
- Maintain accreditation by coordinating the efforts of the PA Program to meet and/or exceed the standards for accreditation (ARC-PA)
Teaching:
Instruct first year, second and culminating year students in the following:
- Physical Diagnosis Lab Instructor (Spring I and Summer II)
- Clinical Correlations /Clinical Skills Instructor (Fall III)
- Instructor- Procedures (Fall III)
- Lecturing in area of expertise
- Clinical Year Student document reviewer (SOAP Notes etc.) (All semesters)
- Advisement - first year, second and culminating year students (All semesters)
- Master’s capstone advisor -reviewing and grading master’s capstone (Fall VII)
Admissions:
- Review prospective applicants
- Participate in the admissions process
- Interview prospective applicants

- Create curricular content commensurate with course syllabi for area of instruction
- Create, review and revise exams in area of instruction
- NCCPA Board Certified (Recommended)
- Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant (Recommended)
- A Master’s degree/Master’s eligible is required
- A Bachelor of Science from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Requires ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with frequent high levels of urgency or sensitivity
- Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal skills are required, both written and oral
- Timely response to emails (within 24 hours)
- Ability to appropriately document student advisement sessions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Zoom
- Learning Management Systems such as Canvas. Exxat and other educational platforms such as ExamSoft.
- Ability to deliver online course content
