Description
Are you a customer service champion who enjoys problem solving? Do you have a passion for helping others? Looking for a part-time role with a mission-based organization? If so, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) has a great opportunity in our small, team-based, contact center. This is a part-time (25 hours per week) Monday-Friday, 11:30am-4:30pm or 9:30am-2:30pm** schedule in a hybrid or onsite work environment.
As the Credentialing Information Specialist (CIS) in our Initial Certification department, you'll be a first point of contact with ARRT candidates and others requesting information about our certification and registration processes. You'll have a deep understanding of the education, clinical, and regulatory eligibility requirements Registered Technologists (R.T.s) face. You'll work to address registrants' needs by providing information and key communications.
In this role, you'll also identify opportunities to improve communications and promote accuracy of information with a keen attention to detail.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and electronic messaging concerning Initial Certification (IC) requirements (moderate volume call center)
- Create complete and thorough documentation records
- Evaluate applications for primary and post primary certification
- Seek and maintain knowledge of current certification and registration eligibility requirements
- Embrace ARRT's commitment of providing world class customer service
- Completion of a variety of administrative tasks including data entry and mail processing
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year minimum of call center/customer service representative and office administration experience
- Strong computer technology skills- including Microsoft Teams and Outlook, multi-line phone systems, web-browser, database, and various software systems. Equipment is provided.

Position location options:
- Onsite at our Mendota Heights office
OR
- Hybrid- local Twin Cities metro area remote with some Thursdays onsite in our Mendota Heights office

Salary Description
$19.50/hour during training. $21.00/hour after.
