Part Time Craft Beer Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated individual to deliver our Craft Beer to a growing portfolio of wholesale accounts throughout the Bay Area. This is an exciting opportunity to join Buck Wild as a critical team member.

The Delivery Driver is expected to represent the company on the “front line” as they prioritize safety, professionalism, and service while delivering Buck Wild category-leading beer to customers’ places of business.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

·       Deliver product to wholesale accounts throughout the Bay Area

·       Load and unload vehicle as necessary

·       Inspect vehicle, clean vehicle, record findings, top-off any fluids (including air as needed)

·       Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery

·       Verify truck is loaded accurately before leaving with product/invoices/stops for the day

·       Bring signed invoices, cash, and checks back to brewery

·       Interface with wholesale buyers and answer questions about our portfolio and inventory

·       Safe operation of the vehicle including regular maintenance checks

·       Return of empty kegs from wholesale accounts

·       Show up on time to our Oakland, CA facility for scheduled delivery days

·       Pull deliveries from inventory and independently load the vehicle for the day’s route

·       Enthusiastically assist customers in restocking

·       Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers

·       Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy

·       Ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading process

·       Assist on canning/packaging days

·       Packaging beer for mail delivery

·       Follow all of Buck Wild’s policies and procedures

Required Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

·       Must be at least 21 years of age

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes a plus

·       Must be personable and have a positive attitude

·       Must be highly organized

·       Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance of a forklift and pallet jack

·       Must have a valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record

·       Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time

·       Ability to move up to 160lbs

·       Previous experience in the Craft Beer industry is preferred

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours/week with room for additional hours within our small but growing company as they become available. Wage commensurate with experience.
