SalaryHampton-Clarke is an environmental laboratory with an immediate need for an experienced part-time Driver/Courier for our service center location in Mt. Laurel, NJ
Summary of duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Pick up and deliver samples and/or bottle orders from and to HC customers and other driver/courier duties as required. Receive and record samples in accordance with standard procedures. Deliver samples to the home office in Fairfield, NJ.
Work Schedule:
- 2nd shift beginning at 2:00pm
- Overtime as needed
- Must be flexible with work hours.
This is a non-CDL and non-union position.
Candidates must able to meet the following requirements:
* Valid driver's license with clean driving record for a minimum of 4 years and be able to provide proof of clean driving record.
* Must be 21 years old or older.
* 1 to 2 years of experience as a Driver/Courier is a plus.
* Experience in a laboratory environment a plus.
* Comfortable with driving long distance for several hours.
* Willing and able to travel the Tri-State area and other locations.
* Working knowledge of GPS system and Smartphones.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and be able to prioritize tasks, pickups and deliveries.
* Able to speak and read English to ensure processing of paperwork; for example, chain of custody.
* Excellent communication skills
* Capable of working independently and as a team player.
* Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and high level of integrity.
* Physical requirements include: A) Must be able to lift and carry over 75 lbs., twist, bend, squat, stand and sit for long periods of time. And B) Dexterity in hands, fingers and feet to operate vehicle and other equipment and be able to perform repetitive motions.
Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
