Job Summary/Basic Function:
Reporting to the Director-Marketing, Communications, & Recruitment, the duties of this position include:
- Participate in student recruitment and retention activities within the college and in the community in alignment with College’s strategic enrollment management plan.
- Develop and coordinate annual calendar of recruitment/outreach activities for the department including Brazosport College, ISD partners and community events.
- Collaborate with college departments with multiple recruitment and retention activities.
- Organize, prepare, and present oral presentations and tours for prospective students and community.
- Recommend objectives and goals for the department and provide outcomes for each goal.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, and talking.
Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- At least an Associate degree.
- At least 1 year of work experience in marketing/public relations/recruitment.
- Excellent communication and public-relations skills.
- Experience using Client Relationship Management software (CRS)
- Knowledge of college operations including programs (credit and non-credit); course offerings; degrees and degree requirements, enrollment lifecycle.
