Part-Time Code Enforcement Assistant

Overview:

The City of Darlington's Building and Codes Department is seeking a Code Enforcement Assistant. This is a part-time position. The hours are 10a-2p Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
- Canvasing scheduled areas of the city to determine if any violations exist in accordance with the City of Darlington's Code of Ordinances.

- Perform re-inspections for compliance of all issued violations

- Perform Administrative Duties as delegated by the Building Official

Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Clean Driving Record
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
