Job Description:

The Club Sales Associate is a dynamic sales professional and the face of our club, dedicated to creating an inviting atmosphere for kids to learn chess and other games through storytelling. This role is pivotal in driving club growth through proactive sales efforts, including cold calling, lead generation, and closing deals. The attendant ensures a memorable experience for students, tutors, and parents, while actively promoting club memberships, events, and merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive club membership sales through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
• Utilize effective closing techniques to convert prospects into club members.
• Greet students and ensure a comfortable waiting experience, while also identifying sales opportunities with parents/caregivers.
• Respond to inquiries with a sales-oriented approach, highlighting club benefits and offerings.
• Manage administrative tasks, including sales tracking, client correspondence, and account assistance.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming club environment, conducive to sales interactions.
• Assist in finding substitute tutors and provide emergency class coverage to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Compile shift and incident reports with a focus on sales outcomes and opportunities.
• Actively participate in club events and promotions to boost sales and member engagement.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for membership growth and retention.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Proven sales experience, with a strong track record in cold calling and closing deals.
• Experience working with young children / in educational settings is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade and influence.
• Team player with exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Certification for First Aid/CPR/AED and Epipen (training provided if necessary).
• Front office experience is desirable.
