Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive childcare to children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare setting
- Monitor and address children's needs, including meals, rest, and playtime
- Develop and implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day
Qualifications:
- Early childhood education background or related field preferred but willing to train
- Experience in caregiving, or daycare settings - but willing to train
- Willing to get certified in first aid and CPR for children
- Ability to manage and guide toddler behavior effectively
- Passion for educating and engaging with children in a positive manner
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
- Free child development classes available for all child care workers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
