SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a childcare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children can thrive
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts that may arise
- Follow established policies and procedures to maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, babysitting, or similar setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with first aid procedures for children
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Experience working with toddlers is preferred but not required
- Education or coursework in early childhood education is a plus
