Moore US Mail Contractor, Inc. is a small business in Fayetteville, AR. We are professional, customer-centric, fast-paced and our goal is to provide the best and most reliable contract transportation for the USPS. .
Our work environment includes:
- On-the-job training
CDL-A Mail truck driver
Duties:
- Operate a variety of trucks (either tractor + 53 ft trailer or 24ft box truck)
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment. May involve rolling containers or palletized mail.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery of the US Mail
- Ensure proper securing and strapping of loads to prevent damage during transit
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
- Maintain accurate work time records (timesheets)
Requirements:
-Clean federal background check
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
-Current DOT medical certification
- Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures to prevent damage to materials and equipment
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.79 - $24.21 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 25 per week
