• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and supplies needed for guests in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
• Letting the kitchen staff know when a buffet item is low/needs to be replenished and/or replenishing the hot and cold lines throughout service.
• Keeping the café clean throughout service by wiping down the hot and cold lines before, during, and after service.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a personal chef style dining atmosphere.
• Bussing dishes from the café/kitchen to the dish pit.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with setting out the daily menus, tags, and utensils for the buffet lines.
• Record onsite production and consumption figures relating to food prepared onsite by weighing and recording all leftovers.
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Work closely with the Cafe Manager and Chef to keep clients satisfied with our food program.
• Uphold highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation through proper cleaning and sanitizing of all serving areas, prep areas, carts, and other items used for service.
• Review the daily menu and allergens.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout the entire shift as well as monitor the café during service by walking around.
• Must be able to move continuously inside the offices to kitchens and client site
• Must be able to constantly maintain equipment and supplies by monitoring compostable supply levels and restocking the hot and cold lines before, during, and after service.
• Helping with kitchen cleaning/trash removal as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Manage serving large groups quickly through attentive service.
• Filling/emptying/cleaning out the water dispensers at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist as needed with weighing, recording, and packaging food donations daily at the end of service. Support as needed and wait for donation pick up and deliver to driver.

• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Ability to work well under intense time pressure.
• Excellent emotional control in a fast-paced environment.
• Current ServSafe Handler certificate.
• 3+ years experience as a server in a high volume establishment.
• Must be able to lift 40+lbs throughout the shift
• Must meet COVID19 Vaccination requirements required by company/client/health guidelines

Compensation and Perks:

• Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30am-2:30pm
• Approximately $160 monthly transportation stipend
• Standard client holidays off (based on client site)
• Free staff meals daily
• Flexible days off with approval

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
