QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least nineteen (19) years of age.
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrated physical abilities to perform assigned duties.
- Additional criteria as established by the West Feliciana Parish School Board.
JOB GOAL: To assist in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.
JOB DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.
- Assist young children or students with disabilities in getting on and off the bus.
- Assists students in getting on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.
- Provides written records of violations of school system rules to appropriate personnel.
- Collects and turns over to the bus driver those personal items left on bus by students.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Other duties as required and approved by appropriate personnel.
