As a Hot Topic Keyholder/ Assistant Manager, you'll be a huge part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in producing the best customer experience and ensuring that fellow fans are able to get their hands on the merch they love. You'll use your fandom knowledge to help train recruits and ensure their success, while also supporting your Store Manger in daily operations and meeting sales targets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customer to return.
- Step in and step up.
- Understand store promotions, sales plan, and comp, as well as other key metrics.
- Cover the sales floor.
- Keep up visual standards.
- Opening and closing of registers and store.
- Continue missed opportunities
- Execute planogram changes.
- Communicate new fashion and music trends to respective HQ partners.
- Loss prevention
- Support the maintenance of the mothership; keep floor clean and fully stocked.
- Train and coach new sales associates.
- Keep social media pages up to date with new merchandise.
- Any other activities add assigned by your store leader.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Previous management experience in retail or non retail.
- Retail experience a plus.
- Super powers in providing customer service and selling.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Avengers like collaboration and communication skills, as well as Captain America like leadership.
- Usual retail stuff: able to be on your feet the duration of your shift, reaching for merch using a pole, able to climb ladder unassisted, lift at least 50 pounds unassisted.
