Job Summary
EDU Learning Center seeks After-School Art Teacher as soon as possible, the ideal candidate has experience working with children, good communication skills, classroom management skills; has their own transportation and is reliable, punctual and flexible. Multitasking is crucial for this position. We are looking for someone who will be a positive role model for students.
Your duties will include:
- Working with children between the ages of 5 - 13
- Leading children's art classes and guiding students through painting, drawing, or sketching
- Constructing lessons plans for seasonal camps and workshops
- Leading art classes and seasonal camps in an enthusiastic and professional manner
Required Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, passion for teaching, making a difference in student's lives
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
- Reliable transportation
- Have an art or art-related background
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Must be able to commit until the end of the school year
- Be familiar with processes such as painting, sketching, drawing, and sculpting as well as other kinds of art
- Be knowledgeable in fine arts and/or studio art
