Pathway Bank is seeking a Part-time Administrative Assistant to provide overall support to our new Loan Production Office in Lexington, NE. Will assist Loan Officers in processing loan applications, collecting required documents, communicating with customers, maintaining records, scanning and filing, and ensuring overall compliance. Must possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Previous banking/financial experience preferred. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm.
- Provide general administrative support including managing office correspondence, filing, and data entry.
- Develop and maintain understanding of the loan process, account information, deposit services, and general banking services.
- Navigate through sources of information to provide basic information and respond to customer questions in a timely manner in accordance with bank customer service standards.
- Assist in preparation of loan files and in completing loan processing tasks.
- Promote customer satisfaction in a professional and friendly manner and provide seamless service to ensure customer-service goals and standards are met.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
- Light daily/weekly custodial tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the office: vacuuming, emptying trash, dusting/wiping down surfaces, etc.
- Maintain overall office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Scan/index documents and maintain organized records.
- Utilize various computer systems to run software programs to look up customer accounts, enter data, and troubleshoot equipment when problems occur.
- Maintain professionalism in all aspects of daily tasks including filing, communicating with customers via phone, email and in person, and keeping an organized workstation.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of professional office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the loan production process and familiarity with financial terminology is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with office equipment and technology (e.g., printers, phones, computers).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations using various calculators and/or computer programs.
