About us:
We are a very busy acupuncture and wellness care center looking for a very special employee to join our team long-term. Our office is located just inside loop 410. The main practitioner is a Doctor of Acupuncture, and she has been in a successful and thriving practice for over 12 years.

The type of person we are looking for:

You must be a positive, upbeat, reliable, punctual, diligent, and genuine people-person who enjoys making people smile and feel comfortable in the office. Other necessary skills are: good computer and typing abilities, comfortable answering busy phones with a pleasant speaking voice, multitasking, and detail-oriented. Position:
The ideal candidate is seeking a permanent position that would like to stay with the clinic for the LONG TERM. We want to minimize turnover as much as possible.

This current job opening is for a PART-TIME position, but can turn into a FULL-TIME position based on performance and availability.

Compensation:
Base Hourly pay starts at $14-16/hr depending on experience and performance during your 60 day probation period. Additionally, you will be paid daily sales commission and bonuses from the start. Employees typically make an additional $2-4/hr on top of their hourly pay with the bonuses, which makes the earnings at ~$15-18/hr (depending on sales and procedures).
Other benefits...herbs and supplements at wholesale cost. After the 60 day probation period, there is a possibility of increase in the hourly wage based on your performance review.

All staff are welcome to get free acupuncture/cupping treatment once per week after your 60 day probation period.

Office duties include:

• Opening and/or closing the office
• Warmly welcome and check in the patients
• Answering multi-line phones, answering questions and taking messages in a polite, helpful manner
• Accurately scheduling patients on the computer
• Collecting and accounting for cash transactions, checks, and processing credit card payments
• Cleaning all surfaces throughout the shift
• Organizing of the front desk and treatment rooms
• Talking to patients, making them feel comfortable, answering questions about their care
• Putting patients into their treatment rooms
• Preparing/cleaning treatment rooms between patients
• Folding and dispersing linens
• Ordering/pricing/stocking supplies
• Assisting the professional staff and front desk managers as needed
• Ensuring a smoothly run clinic
• Creating an excellent customer experience
• Being an all-around team-player

Uniform/Dress Code:

We wear scrubs in black, white, blue, gray or combination thereof and comfortable shoes. Business casual is also acceptable when worn in our company colors.
