Part-Time Accountant

Job Description:

World Workforce International seeks a detail-oriented part-time accountant to join our dynamic team in Clovis, California. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with organization leadership to maintain meticulous financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding and practical experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all incoming and outgoing monetary transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize QuickBooks to record and categorize financial activities promptly.
• Properly allocate written checks to the appropriate tax filing codes for transparency and compliance.
• Generate comprehensive budget and expense reports to aid in decision-making processes.
• Process program payouts and payroll checks exclusively at the request of management, maintaining confidentiality and precision.

Compensation:

The compensation package for this part-time role will be competitive and reflective of the candidate's qualifications and experience. The position entails working approximately 20-25 hours per week with an hourly rate ranging from $20 to $30 per hour.

At the lower end of the range, candidates with foundational knowledge and some experience in accounting, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel can expect to receive $20 per hour. They may advance within the salary range as they gain experience and demonstrate proficiency in their role, potentially earning up to $30 per hour.

The final salary within this range will be determined based on prior experience, educational background, demonstrated skills, and performance evaluations. Additionally, salary increases and advancement opportunities within the organization may be available based on individual achievements and contributions.
