JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Brandywine's Academic Success Center is seeking a Professional Tutor to assist students with academic coaching, study skills acquisition, and general education course content mastery.
Job Duties
This opening is part-time and primarily in-person with occasional ability to work remotely for two to four days per week for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Requirements and Qualifications
Pay range is $18 for bachelor's degree and $20 for Master's degree.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.

- Professional tutors will work directly with students and keep records of those meetings.
- Professional tutors will be expected to assist students by meeting with them on a regular basis in one-on-one or in a small group setting to improve their academic achievement.

- Individuals applying for the position should hold at least a bachelor's degree.
- Candidates with prior Professional Tutoring experience will be given first consideration.
